Here’s the first edition of a new feature on High Tea with Dragons called Mondayitis!

If you’re anything like me, Monday’s are often a bit of a struggle – the weekend’s never long enough, I’ve never had enough sleep and there’s a mountain of things to do at work. So each Monday morning I’m going to share five things that have brightened up my day in the hopes it will do the same for you.

I hope you like it! Let me know what you think.

And without further ado, here are five things to cure your Mondayitis…

How about some miniature Shetland ponies to brighten up your Monday? Oh, I forgot to mention… they’re wearing knitted jumpers!

Here’s a website that will turn a map into an instant work of art! Just search for the location you want and select various effects like high contract and (my favourite) water colour.

Feeling like a Monday splurge? Then check out this awesome squirrel cookie jar!

Want florist flowers without the price tag? Here are three ways to arrange supermarket flowers so they look like you spent a fortune.

If you like milkshakes and cupcakes then you’ll love these ‘cupshakes’ – adorable cupcakes that look as milkshakey as the real deal.
